‘Flying Banana’ New Measurement Train Trip for 6!

An exclusive trip on Network Rail’s New Measurement Train (NMT), the converted high-speed train which is equipped with the newest equipment and high-tech measurement systems to help Network Rail measure the condition of the track. The group will have sole use of the conference area on the NMT.

Here their host for the day will give the group an overview of the current fleet and the systems each vehicle utilises to monitor track conditions. Then give them a guided tour, including a demonstration and explanation of the equipment on the train.
