In the heart of Stratford on Avon, the club was founded in 1894, with the current layout designed by JH Taylor, five times winner of the Open and FG Hawtree. Notable past members include Sam Ryder who re-opened the new course in 1928 with Abe Mitchell (the figure on top of the Ryder Cup) and three other Open Champions playing a demonstration match.
Current members include Andy Sullivan a former Ryder Cup player and former Professional Footballer Ben Foster, whose popular YouTube channel the Golfing Goalkeeper features some great content of the course.
